Terms of Service - Match to Marry

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Match to Marry. By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable terms that may be disclosed to you, such as when you purchase additional features.

If you are using the App on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and Age Restriction

To use the Match to Marry App, you must meet the following criteria:

• • You must be at least 18 years old.
• • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet all of these eligibility requirements. We do not knowingly collect information from or allow access to the App by anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete their information immediately.

3. User Conduct and Community Guidelines

Your use of the App is subject to these strict content and conduct guidelines. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, abuse, and content that violates these guidelines. Any violation may result in the immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, without a refund.

You agree not to post, upload, transmit, or otherwise engage in the following prohibited behavior:

• • Nudity & Sexual Content: Posting sexually explicit content, engaging in sexually explicit chat, or promoting adult services.
• • Harassment, Bullying, & Hate Speech: Harassing, bullying, trolling, or threatening other users. Promoting hate speech, discrimination, bigotry, racism, or prejudice against any group or individual.
• • Violence & Harmful Content: Promoting violence, incitement, or self-harm, or posting content that depicts, encourages, or glorifies such acts.
• • Impersonation & Fraud: Impersonating any person or entity, creating fake profiles, catfishing, scamming, asking for money, or engaging in any other fraudulent behavior, including romance scams.
• • Sharing Private Information: Sharing private information of others without their explicit consent (doxxing), or publicly posting contact information (e.g., phone numbers, addresses, social media handles outside designated fields).
• • Commercial Use & Solicitation: Promoting prostitution, escort services, illegal substances, multi-level marketing (MLM), or using the app for political campaigning or religious preaching.
• • Spamming & Automation: Spamming, mass messaging, or using bots, scripts, or any automation tools.
• • Copyright Infringement: Using copyrighted content, trademarks, or other proprietary information without proper authorization.
• • Misinformation: Spreading false, misleading, or defamatory information.

We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate any account that violates these guidelines, in our sole discretion, without prior notice.

4. Safety and Protection

We are deeply committed to user safety and protection. We implement robust measures and a zero-tolerance policy for harmful behavior:

• • Reporting and Blocking: We provide in-app tools for you to report any content or behavior that violates these Terms and to block other users. We review all reports promptly and take appropriate action.
• • Photo/Face Verification: To enhance authenticity and reduce fake profiles, the App includes photo/face verification. Users may be required to submit a selfie to verify their identity and the authenticity of their profile pictures.
• • AI Moderation: We utilize AI moderation tools to proactively detect and address explicit or harmful content in user profiles and chats, helping us enforce our content guidelines.
• • Personal Responsibility: While we take these measures, you are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not conduct background checks, so you must exercise caution and use your best judgment before sharing personal information or meeting users in person.
• • Data Security: Your data is stored securely using Supabase with encryption and access controls, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

• • By You: You may delete your account at any time via the App's settings. Upon deletion, all of your personal data, messages, and media will be permanently removed from our servers immediately, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
• • By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice for any violation of these Terms, including but not limited to any of the prohibited behaviors listed in Section 3.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Match to Marry, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the App; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party. This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms and your use of the App.

11. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to modify these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app message or email. Continued use of the App after such changes means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

13. Entire Agreement and Severability

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, represent the entire agreement between you and Match to Marry regarding your use of the App. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.
